We’ve been living in our house for a little over 6 months now – and I STILL can’t believe how far it’s come! Now, don’t mistake that for the house being DONE, because it’s far from being done! But we’re loving life in our 1902 Victorian fixer upper!
Our kitchen was the biggest transformation in this house. As a young family with 2 little kids, we spend a LOT of our day in the kitchen. I honestly couldn’t be happier with how the space turned out, and it’s such a great thing, because I feel like I spend all day in this room!
Maybe it sounds weird, but some days, I turn around and just stare at our kitchen. And then I grab my phone and document the moment. Because it’s come SO FAR. Because I love it SO MUCH. Because we live LIFE in this kitchen! Here’s some of my favorite snapshots (all captured on my iPhone – I’ll have to actually take out my real camera sometimes!) of our kitchen from this past summer & fall. Make sure you’re following on Instagram to see these pictures + a LOT more of life in our 1902 Victorian!
making banana bread with my sweet boy a few days after we came from from the hospital with his baby sister – such a hard adjustment!

coming home after a week in North Carolina with family (but without my husband) – felt so good to be back home!

Coffee on the morning of my 30th birthday – loving life with my husband home, happy kids, and hot coffee!
